Dr. Ryan McManamay is a spatial ecologist that studies human-environmental systems in order to balance ecosystem and societal needs. Prior to joining Baylor, he led the Energy-Water Nexus theme within Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Urban Dynamics Institute while also serving as a Joint Faculty member of the Bredesen Center at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Ryan has over 100 publications, 80 of which are in peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters.
