Suzanne Scott joined the Nature Conservancy as the State Director in 2020 after a 20-year career with the San Antonio River Authority. She oversees conservation strategies and public policy development to protect the state’s cherished landscapes and support ecology, economies, public health, and equity. Working closely with a talented staff of dedicated conservationists and experts, she promotes resilience through nature-based solutions in cities and along coasts, while supporting the protection and restoration of connected and diverse habitats and ecosystems throughout Texas.
